Currently Accepting Items
We gratefully accept donations of clean, gently used, or new items to support our community closet nonprofit, with a specific focus on assisting EMS professionals working within transport-capable services who are experiencing financial or personal hardship. This program is intended to provide direct, discreet support to active EMS personnel, such as EMTs and paramedics, who are employed in ambulance or patient transport settings and find themselves in need of basic essential items during difficult periods.
Eligibility is centered on working EMS providers currently engaged in transport-capable services who are facing hardship, whether due to unexpected financial strain, life transitions, or other personal challenges. Through this initiative, eligible EMS professionals can access essential clothing, shoes, and everyday necessities at no cost, helping to reduce immediate burdens and support stability while they continue their critical work in the field.
By focusing on this specific group, the community closet aims to recognize the unique demands placed on frontline EMS personnel and provide a meaningful layer of support when it is needed most. All donated items are requested to be clean, gently used, or new and in good wearable condition so they can be promptly distributed to qualified recipients with dignity and respect.

Our biggest need: Volunteers
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals who have a strong desire to help build and operate this nonprofit as it grows toward full incorporation. This is a formative stage of development, and we are looking for people who are genuinely interested in contributing to the creation of a strong, organized, and sustainable foundation that will support long-term impact.
We are especially interested in individuals with experience in finance, nonprofit administration, grant writing, fundraising, governance, compliance, or other charity and community-based work. Experience in EMS, healthcare systems, emergency response, or public service organizations is also highly valuable. That said, prior experience is not required. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, provided they bring commitment, reliability, and a sincere willingness to learn and contribute meaningfully.
What matters most is a readiness to invest consistent time and energy into the mission, to collaborate effectively with others, and to take initiative in helping move projects forward. This includes being dependable in communication, following through on responsibilities, and participating actively in discussions and planning as the organization develops.
This is an opportunity to be part of building something from the ground up. Contributors will have a direct role in shaping the structure, policies, and operational systems of the nonprofit, helping define how it functions both internally and in the communities it serves. Early involvement will help establish the frameworks that ensure transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.
Our mission is centered on supporting EMS professionals and strengthening community care. We aim to develop programs and systems that provide meaningful assistance, improve operational effectiveness, and contribute to the wellbeing of both responders and the communities they serve. Achieving this requires a committed group of individuals who are willing to help transform an idea into a fully functioning, incorporated nonprofit organization.
We are looking for people who are ready to take an active role in developing operational systems, assisting with administrative and organizational tasks, supporting outreach and funding efforts, and helping guide the strategic direction of the nonprofit as it grows. This may include participating in planning meetings, contributing to policy development, assisting with documentation and compliance preparation, supporting fundraising or grant efforts, and collaborating on outreach initiatives.
Above all, we are seeking individuals who believe in the mission and are willing to contribute their time, skills, and energy to help establish a strong foundation for future impact.
